Why do spots appear?

A spot forms when excess sebum blocks a pore. Bacteria develop there and cause inflammation. Several factors can trigger or worsen this:

• Hormones : adolescence, menstrual cycle, pregnancy.
• Stress, which stimulates sebum production.
• An unsuitable routine : too harsh, or on the contrary not enough.
